Tim Turner | Owner, H.A.S.

Tim Turner has been working in the hearing healthcare industry for over 15 years. Prior to founding Hometown Hearing Centers he worked for Sonova, the world’s largest hearing aid company.

At Sonova, Tim worked with top auditory researchers and engineers to bring advanced hearing aid technology to the industry. He was “Trainer to the Professionals” for both Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists.

Tim worked closely with hearing healthcare professionals with their most difficult and challenging patient programming and fittings. This has afforded Tim an unequaled perspective from both the manufacturer and patient viewpoints.

Mr. Turner has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Florida and is a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. He is also an active member in the Florida Society of Hearing Healthcare Professionals.

He has presented at state and national conventions in the areas of hearing instrument technology and audiology practice management.

Tim has the depth and breadth of experience to handle the most challenging cases, but counts among his greatest strengths his interpersonal skills and love for his patients.

"The folks at Hometown Hearing Centers were very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They made me comfortable, provided me with accurate information, and helped me really understand my hearing loss. As a result I hear much better, noticing sounds I never knew were there, and can understand conversations in restaurants much better than before. Thanks Hometown Hearing!"
